I am a an interdisciplinary artist working in photography, printmaking and video.

My practice centres around freedom; using the act of walking as a starting point to explore notions of  personal freedom and land ownership through photography/print media, installations and video. I spend periods of time alone in a place and later translate these experiences through my studio  practice.

After periods of displacing myself and focusing on the act of walking to explore personal activism, nuclear disarmament and land ownership I have begun to find comfort in noticing signs that I am on my way home. During periods of stress I began to give meaning to road signs, lights and markings. Their quirks brought meaning to my journeys and an obsession over the characters in these seemingly neutral graphics ensued. I have been developing imagery through stop motion videos, drawing and printmaking to feed my interest and build on this comfort.
